Amapiano star Nkosazana Daughter, born Nolwazi Nzama, has filed a R13 million defamation lawsuit against Macgyver “Mac G” Mukwevho, who co-hosts "Podcast and Chill“ with Sol Penduka.
This legal action stems from controversial comments made during an episode in July, where Mac G claimed that the father of Daughter’s child is not Sir Trill, as many believed, but rather Master KG.
He asserted that KG was the biological father, a claim that raised eyebrows, especially since it followed rampant rumours that Daughter was expecting a baby with Sir Trill.
“Someone in Botswana told me and they are very close to Nkosazana Daughter. Apparently that’s not Sir Trill’s kid, it’s Master KG’s kid, bro. I kid you not,” MacG said.
Phenduka added fuel to the fire by suggesting that these paternity issues might have caused a rift between Sir Trill and the singer.
Daughter responded with the following: “I assure u (you) big time my relation with Master KG is not romantic or sexual!
“Like I said before, KG and I only work together but it’s like there’s people trying to convince you that there is more and there is no such thing,” she wrote.
She continued: “All this for views? I’m so disappointed at how low people can go, not to mention how women are so disrespected in this industry!
“It’s so unfortunate that you will never see the amount of work that we have put out, because I’m female I must be sleeping with him. Disgusting.”

According to the “Sunday World”, in response to these allegations, Daughter recently decided to file her lawsuit in the Johannesburg High Court, seeking damages for the harm done to her reputation and emotional state.
The lawsuit highlights that the case involves violations of evidence rules, particularly through the use of hearsay testimony, which lacks credibility. It further notes that the plaintiff, Daughter, is experiencing ongoing harm to her personal reputation.
Her professional standing and esteem have also been adversely affected, indicating significant damage to her image due to the claims made against her.
Additionally, they are demanding a retraction from the podcasters for the defamatory statements.
“An oral, televised and written apology issued by the first and/or second and/or third defendant to the plaintiff.
“Payment by the first and/or second and/or third defendant, whether jointly; alternatively, whether jointly and severally (in which event the one paying, the other two to be absolved), of the aggregate amount of R13 000 000,” the statement reads.
As the story unfolded, Mac G became a trending topic on social media.
Commentators and fans had strong opinions about the situation, with Nota Baloyi, a controversial figure in the industry, stating: “Mac G is in serious trouble … He needs to negotiate an out-of-court settlement because no judge will have mercy on his business.”
