South African actress, singer, traditional doctor, and TV personality Letoya Makhene-Pulumo has finally addressed the allegations made by her ex-partner, Lebo Keswa, stating that there is no truth to the claims that went viral on social media.

Keswa has been making waves on social media by sharing details about her failed marriage with Makhene, alleging that drug use, abuse, and infidelity contributed to the marriage’s collapse.

However, in a recent interview with Radio 2000, Makhene addressed these allegations head on.

Makhene firmly stated that there is no truth to the allegations made by Keswa, emphasising that the inconsistencies in Keswa's stories cast doubt on their validity.

"If there were any truth, there would be consistency in her stories," said Makhene.

Despite these allegations, the actress expressed gratitude, highlighting that she is not in the darkest space that the world might expect her to be in.

"I've come out from what was the worst for me and that is what I'm grateful for," she said.

Furthermore, Makhene revealed that in the middle of this situation, she has been receiving abundant love and support from her family and colleagues who have been treating her with love, gentleness and kindness.

"Because I know the darkest space that I've managed to escape from, I am, right now, with all the noise happening around me, in one of my happiest spaces," Makhene added.

Addressing her recent release "Abantu", Makhene clarified that the song was not written by her and it does not reflect the ongoing allegations.
