The act of paying for water, which is considered a human right, is still a controversial issue to may.

But, for the ultra-wealthy, 'regular' water won't do, and they go for super expensive bottled water such as Fillico Jewelry Water.

This water comes from a company in Japan and is one of the costliest in the world, with rare, limited bottles costing up to around R178,515 each bottle.

Fillico was founded in 2005 with the goal of creating a comprehensive luxury experience.

The company uses some of the Asia's best mineral water. Fillico stands out with its exorbitant bottles bedazzled with Swarovski crystals, gold, precious stones and even diamonds.

Fillico water is sourced from the Nunobiki Spring, located deep within Kobe's Rokkou National Park.

It is noted for its cleanliness and high mineral content; it is naturally filtered via volcanic rock, which supposedly gives it a wonderfully fresh flavour.

The company promises to bottle the water with little processing to maintain its natural nature.

Fillico is reportedly ready to expand its worldwide footprint as the demand for premium goods increases. The brand intends to expand its offers.
