Kevin Hart recently shared his strong preference for slacks over jeans, citing comfort as the main reason for his switch.

During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the 45-year-old comedian revealed that after turning 40, he decided to ditch jeans entirely in favour of more comfortable options like pants and slacks.

“I’m over 40. I feel like a good pant is necessary,” Hart explained. “Jeans are not the same. Jeans hurt, and are not comfortable.”

Hart elaborated on his dislike for jeans, pointing out specific discomforts they cause.

“I need something that I can move in and something that’s soft,” he tells Hudson.

He mentioned that jeans often hurt his knees and feel particularly uncomfortable around the waistband.

“When you sit down, I don’t like how jeans dig into my waist. I don’t like that,” he said.

Instead, he prefers slacks with soft waistbands, which provide a more relaxed and comfortable fit.

When host Jennifer Hudson asked Hart at what age people should consider making the switch from jeans to pants, he confidently replied that 40 was the turning point for him.

He humorously added that by the time he reaches 50, he plans to transition entirely to sweatpants, embracing an even more laid-back wardrobe.

Hart’s comments highlight a shift in priorities as he ages, valuing comfort over style when it comes to his clothing choices.

His lighthearted take on the matter resonated with many viewers, especially those who can relate to the discomfort of wearing jeans as they get older.
