Johannesburg - South Africa’s best motorcycle of 2015, as voted by a jury of motoring journalists from various publications, will be revealed next week.
The 16 finalists in this year’s Pirelli SA Bike of the Year competition are currently being put through their paces in Gauteng and Mpumalanga in a series of road and track tests.
This is the third running of the annual competition, with former winners being the KTM 1290 Super Duke (2014) and BMW R1200 GS (2013).
This year’s line-up includes an eclectic mix of superbikes, adventure tourers and cruisers, while for the first time there’s also a battery-powered machine in the form of the Zero electric bike.
