Mercedes-Benz has released a teaser sketch of its new GLC ahead of the new SUV's unveiling this Wednesday, 17 June.
As its name implies the new soft-roader will slot neatly between the GLA and GLE in the line-up, thus going head-to-head with the BMW X3 and Audi Q5.
Besides this sketch, you'll also find a good few styling clues in the recent Concept GLC Coupe , which all but confirms that there will also be a sloping-roofed version of the GLC to pick a fight with the BMW X4 and Porsche Macan.
We'll have to wait until the reveal to find out all the specifics about the new GLC, but it should share much of its mechanical content, including engines, with the latest C-Class.
Mercedes also promises that it'll offer the same off-road ability as its boxy predecessor, the GLK that never came to SA, while also taking its comfort, agility and style to another level.
