Stuttgart, Germany - There are already a lot of leaked, rendered, spied and just plain pirated images out there of Mercedes' much-hyped GLK replacement, the new GLC.
By way of response, Mercedes gives us this teaser video ahead of its official reveal later on Wednesday.
We already know the GLC is based on the W205 C-Class and will draw its powertrain options from there, as well as air suspension and, of course, 4Matic all-wheel-drive - putting it squarely on a collision course with BMW's X3 and the Audi Q5.
There will also definitely be a right-hand drive version, so there's a good chance we'll be seeing it in South Africa in the foreseeable future - as well as a fast-back style 'coupé' model to compete with the X4 and the Porsche Macan.
Still unconfirmed at present - but considered inevitable by Stuttgart insiders - is an AMG version, probably with the C63's four-litre biturbo V8. Yes please.
