Mercedes-Benz is preparing to unleash a sleek new coupé version of its popular C-Class sedan and the heavy-hitting AMG version looks set to form part of the range from the outset.
Mercedes-AMG has been putting the C63 Coupé through its final testing phases and barely two weeks after a disguised prototype was spied ripping up the Nurburgring (as you'll see in the video below), the company has released some teaser images of another camo car tearing around Hockenheim.
While it appears to share its front end design with the C-Class sedan, designers have evidently gone for a lower and sleeker body profile and you can almost bet your bottom dollar on the tail end resembling its big brother, the S-Class Coupé.
The two-door AMG will no doubt be powered by the sedan's 4-litre twin-turbo V8 and unless the company has a surprise up its sleeve, it's safe enough to assume that the S version will produce 375kW, while the tamer standard option will be limited to 350kW.
The new coupé is expected to be revealed in full on August 19, so be sure to watch this space.
