The third edition of the JG Zuma Marathon will be run on Sunday, April 30 from Albert Falls, Mpolweni, to King Edward Park in Greytown.
The event along the scenic undulating 42.2km route has become an important feature on the road running calendar of KwaZulu-Natal Athletics.
A R50 000 first prizes awaits the winners of the men and women’s races respectively, where the rest of the runners may also use as a Comrades ultra-Marathon qualifier.
Registration for the race, that also includes a half-marathon, a 10km and a 5km Fun Run, is already opened.
Starting at 6am, the cut-off time for the 42.2km is at 11.30am with the prize-giving ceremony scheduled to take place at noon.
