AmaZulu co-coach Arthur Zwane is gearing up for a fierce battle against defending champions Stellenbosch FC in the Carling Knock-out Cup, at the King Zwelithini Stadium on Friday.
Kick-off is at 7pm.
Zwane was appointed as one of the new coaches at the club alongside Vusimuzi Vilakazi to help turn things around after a disastrous start to the season, which saw ‘Usuthu’ remain rooted at the bottom of the Betway Premiership.
Speaking to the media in Durban ahead of the Carling Knock-out clash against the Maroons, the former Kaizer Chiefs coach said he was expecting an all-out war on Friday.

‘It’s going to be a war for our boys’
"I expect nothing less than war from their side. When you look at their game model, they play with a high tempo from the first whistle to the last,“ said Zwane.
“And even if you take them to extra time, they are still physical so their tactical endurance is second to none, and that is why I'm saying it's going to be a war for our boys but war for them as well because they are defending champions.
Zwane added that ‘Usuthu’ was hungrier than the Cape Winelands outfit, adding that they want to progress to the next round of the competition.
“So it’s not going to be an easy one but we’re equal to the task, we should be ready come Friday mentally and physically. We will make sure that the players are ready for this one but like I said we want it more than them.
“They’ve been doing really well , there’s no doubt about it, but we want to go to the next round and build the confidence in the squad as well,” Zwane added.
However, it will not be an easy game for AmaZulu as they will take on a wounded Stellenbosch side, who will want to come back strong after their 3-1 loss to Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 final.
