Mamelodi Sundowns defender Grant Kekana says he expects a difficult game against Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.

The Soweto giants have started the season on a high note, having claimed wins against Marumo Gallants and AmaZulu, and are currently third in the league table.

However, Masandawana, have also won their opening games and currently occupy the top spot in the league table.

With both teams in fine form, the match has garnered plenty of interest from local fans. According to reports, tickets were selling like hot cakes, with over 40,000 sold already as of Thursday night.

Speaking to the media ahead of the game, Kekana highlighted that Amakhosi are a completely different team this season and added that he expects a hotly contested affair.

“I think it will depend on the day, who wants it the most and who converts their chances but it’s a totally different team from the one that we played and beat 5-1,” Kekana said.

Moreover, Kekana said, the “Phefeni Glamour Boys” structure under new coach Nasreddine Nbai was starting to take shape.

“I think their structure is coming along quite nicely, which is good to see, it’s going to be a tough game and it might be a close one,” he said.
