FNB Art Joburg
The FNB Art Joburg is returning to the Sandton Convention Centre for its 17th edition.
“Join us for another season of fostering a sustainable ecosystem for contemporary African art and culture,” the organisers said.
As a cornerstone in Africa’s contemporary art and culture calendar, the event plays an integral role in nurturing and sustaining a commercial cultural ecosystem that centres on practitioners based in the African diaspora.
This year, it is taking on a hybrid approach where curatorial and commercial interventions meet. This is because the fair is divided into seven specialised sections: gallery HUB, gallery LAB, MAX, GIF, ETC, AUX, and ORG sections.
“These come together in the form of 41 exhibitors, 14 countries and over 100 artists being represented at the fair,” the organisers explained.
Where: The Sandton Convention Centre.
When: Friday, September 6, to Sunday, September 8.
Cost: Tickets start from R175 and are available through Tixsa.
