Protea Hotels by Marriott has strengthened its footprint in Africa with the opening of two new properties in Nigeria and Zambia.
The new hotels, Protea by Marriott Delta in Nigeria and Protea by Marriott Lusaka International Airport in Zambia, are part of the brand’s ongoing expansion across the continent.

Situated in the bustling business district of Ekpan Warri, the Protea Hotel by Marriott Delta is a 15-minute drive from Osubi Airport and close to the region’s oil and gas industry.
The hotel offers 69 modern guest rooms and three conference rooms, making it ideal for business travellers and corporate events.
Guests can enjoy local and international dishes at the Delta Restaurant, relax at the lobby and pool bar, or unwind at the Oriki Spa. The hotel also features an outdoor pool and a fitness centre.

Conveniently located just minutes from Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, the Protea Hotel by Marriott Lusaka International Airport caters to both business and leisure travellers.
The hotel has 72 guest rooms, an all-day restaurant serving local and international cuisine, a bar, an outdoor pool, and a fitness centre.
For business needs, the hotel provides six boardrooms and two meeting rooms, accommodating up to 104 people. Complimentary airport shuttles ensure easy transfers for guests.
With these two new openings, Protea Hotels by Marriott now operates over 60 properties across nine African countries, including South Africa, Nigeria, Zambia, Angola, and Botswana, further solidifying its presence on the continent.
