If you want to go on a holiday somewhere away from the crowd and a place you can get peace and quiet, then you should check out these secluded hotels:

Kasbah du Toubkal in Imlil, Morocco

Located in the village of Imlil and the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco, the hotel is just 60 kilometres from Marrakech and set on a hilltop. The award-winning unique hotel offers 14 en-suite rooms and three family rooms. The garden and large terraces offer unparalleled views of the surrounding mountains and added privacy. If that does not convince you, then I am not sure what will.

With a number of awards under its name, including being named one of the world’s 100 greatest hotels,  Fogo Island Inn is breathtaking inside and out.  It is perched on stilts and offers views of the North Atlantic coastline. With 29 suites, who can resist a little escape.

Sossusvlei Lodge in Namibia offers some of the most remarkable views in a quiet setting. Think towering sand dunes, the famous pan of Sossusvlei, the scorched black trees of Dead Vlei and the remarkable depths of the Sesriem Canyon. Situated at the Entrance Gate to the Namib Naukluft Park, Sossusvlei Lodge is a private getaway that offers a luxury bush break with a difference. The Treehotel inspired by the movie E.T. is a place to visit if you seek some peace and relaxations. The unique hotel is located in the middle of nature in Harads, near the Lule River. The rooms are designed like an UFO, bird’s nest, a cabin, a mirror cube and a blue cone that changes colour to orange.
