The doors of one of Mexico's sexiest resorts have reopened after a recent multi-million dollar upgrade.

The Temptation Resort in Cancun Mexico, began renovations in September last year. The project was headed up by award winning Canadian designer Karim Rashid, who has become known for his sensual minimalism signature design style.

The renovations include: 430 newly rebuilt guestrooms to match the caliber and style of international hotels and resorts, eight new restaurants that showcase 15 different cuisines from around the world  and a sensual spa called Spa Rosé, that offers treatments performed by specialized therapists to name a few changes.

The resort belongs to the Original Group, a Mexican firm works in the cruise, hotel, marina and vacation club sectors. The group specializes in creating through it's resorts and other resources, experiences that focus on adult centric entertainment and vacationing, at top destinations across the world.

Speaking about the upgrade, Rodrigo de la Pena chief executive of the Original Group said the resort's make over was a long time coming.

“With a history spanning over 40 years as Cancun’s first resort, Temptation has long been a must-visit destination for travellers with a daring spirit who come to enjoy our free-spirited atmosphere and amazing services”. With today’s opening, we look forward to re-introducing our guests to a first glance of the enhanced version of Temptation," he said.

“We are sure this new exciting stage will continue to establish ourselves as the leaders of the adult travel industry worldwide,” he added.

The Temptations Resort, one of it's kind in Mexico only accepts adults only and is themed around sensuality. The resort gives guests the opportunity to go topless at its sexy pool area, has entertainment that is themed around sensuality  and offers packages that include; pole dancing classes that are offered to  guests at the hotel, strippers that perform at the request of the guests in the comfort of their rooms and intimate, romantic dinners for couples at the beach.

Speaking about the project, Rashid said he had enjoyed working on the resort's remake, and had themed most of its design to create spaces that are comfortable and make it easier for people to connect with one another.

The resort may be an atmosphere of exploring and experimenting with sexuality and sensuality but it has strict rules against the usage of drugs, performing sexual acts in public; it requests that guests dress appropriately in restaurants, bars and lobby areas of the hotel and prohibits guests from taking photos and video at the sexy pool as well as stipulated theme nights due to age inappropriate content. Guests are however allowed to take pictures in other areas of the resort.
